MEAN Arms has introduced the MAUL Bearing Delay Upper, a cutting-edge 9mm upper receiver designed to enhance performance for pistol caliber carbine (PCC) enthusiasts and competitive shooters. Building upon their innovative Bearing Delay system, the MAUL offers a lightweight carrier and carbon fiber handguard to minimize recoil and reduce reciprocating mass. This design allows shooters to fine-tune the system for specific ammunition, enabling rapid and accurate follow-up shots. The MAUL is compatible with mil-spec AR-15 lower receivers (using Endomags or Exomags) and dedicated pistol magazine lower receivers. Key features include a 13.1″ barrel with a 1:10 twist, an ambidextrous charging handle, and a performance-focused compensating muzzle brake. Developed with input from top-level shooters, the MAUL is poised to set a new standard in PCC performance.
