[SHOT 2025] Winchester Optics Launch New Thermal Optics Line
Winchester Optics have unveiled a new line of thermal optics. The new TSHX 640, TSHX 384 and THSD 384 utilise VOx Sensors they also feature onboard recording, 50Hz frame rate, and a IP67 waterproof rating.
They are also powered by a 12μm Pixel sensor that supports maximum clarity and extended battery life that projects the image to a SXGA 1280×1024 display. The TSHX 640, has a 50mm Objective Lens while the TSHX 384 and THSD 384 have 35mm Objective Lenses.
The flagship TSHX 640 has a 1-8 digital zoom, is capable of detection at 1865 metres and is powered by two 18650 batteries. These should provide up to 10 hours of normal use. It’s also rated to withstand the recoil of a .300 Win Mag.
It weighs in at 1.5 lbs and is 290mm x 243mm x 110mm. It has customizable visuals inside the SXGA 1280×1024 display with multiple color palettes and reticle options. Aiming it at passersby on the SHOT Show floor 30 feet away didn’t really do it justice but definitely illustrated the fidelity of the display.
