The Z5+ series is an upgrade on the original Z5, but almost all Models that include illumination have a lowercase “i” added to the product name, so a Z5+ is not illuminated, but a Z5i+ has an illumination system. Illuminated models add cost but will also be more visible for dawn and dusk hunting situations.
Purchasers have the option of two types of turrets. One is the classic capped turrets that we are all familiar with. The other is a ballistic turret system. It incorporates a series of small indicators that the shooter can set for various ranges. Think of it like the pins in an archery sight but for a rifle. Shooters can set those stops at their desired distances and they are color-coded for easy distinction. The ballistic turrets also have a locking mechanism at the base of the turret so it will not move unintentionally.
Prices range from $1,649 for the non-illuminated 2-10×42 up to $2,269 for the illuminated 5-25×56 with ballistic turrets. The Z5+ family is available for purchase now.
