[SHOT 2025] Silencerco Releases Several New Suppressors

[SHOT 2025] Silencerco Releases Several New Suppressors

SilencerCo had several new silencers on display at SHOT 2025. They range from titanium takes on older silencers to steel versions of titanium silencers. There is also a new trainer suppressor in the mix as well. Let’s take a look at the various new models.

SilencerCo @ TFB:

Spectre 9K

SilencerCo’s Spectre 9 is a titanium 9mm pistol suppressor, and the new 9K model takes that same idea and shortens it. The Spectre 9k is an inch shorter than the standard Spectre, and because it is shorter it is also lighter than the original, dropping from 3.9 ounces to 3.1 ounces. MSRP is $879.

S98

The new S98 silencer is a titanium take on the Osprey suppressor. Unlike most suppressors, the Osprey is an eccentric design, which means the bore does not run down the center. Most of the silencer body is below the bore line, so the sights are not obstructed. The S98’s titanium construction means it is very light, weighing in at only seven ounces. It is a fully welded design as well for maximum strength. Another unique feature is a 1/2×28 QD mounting system unique to this silencer.

Scythe-STM

The Scythe-STM is a steel version of the all-titanium Scythe-Ti. It has a removable front section so it can run in long or short configurations. It measures 6.9 inches in the long configuration and 5.1 inches in the short configuration. With the front section removed it weights 10.4 ounces, and it weights 14.7 ounces with both sections attached. MSRP is $939.

Velos STC

Finally, we have the Velos STC, which is not actually a suppressor. This is a training can that fits standard SilencerCo mounts. Even though it does not dampen sound and is thus not regulated as a silencer, some states still consider it a flash hider device so it may not be legal in all places. But if you are running a Velos on your main gun, the STC gives you the option to use sim rounds.

Syndicate

This is not a new product, but does impact several brands. Syndicate is a new holding company that controls SilencerCo, Zevtech, and Unity Tactical. More acquisitions are coming, too.
