[SHOT 2025] RISE Armament RA-100 Two-Stage AR-15/AR-10 Trigger
At SHOT Show 2025, RISE Armament introduced a new two-stage AR trigger called RA-100. It is advertised as being designed for durability, built for reliability and priced for everyone. I had a chance to pull this trigger a couple of times and examine it at the show floor and it seems to be a solid one, which is something expected from RISE Armament. RISE Armament RA-100 trigger is made of S7 tool steel, is heat treated and nitrided. This trigger is designed to have a powerful hammer strike force to reliably ignite the primers of all types of ammunition to include hard primers of some military and steel-cased civilian ammo. The trigger pull weight is 4.5 lbs, with the first stage being approximately 2 lbs and the second stage 2.5 lbs.
Another cool feature of this trigger is that the disconnector and its spring are captured and come preassembled which simplifies the installation process. As RISE describes the installation: “Insert the trigger, followed by the hammer assembly, and secure them with the included pins. No lost springs. No misaligned parts. No frustration.”
