[SHOT 2025] New Shotguns and Bolt Action Rifles from Hatsan USA

 

This year at SHOT Show, Hatsan, one of the most established Turkish firearms brands unveiled a few interesting new offerings. Let’s start with what they’re probably best known for – shotguns.

BullTac-Magfed

First up is the BullTac-Magfed, a purpose designed bullpup pump-action shotgun. It has an 18 inch barrels and is available in 12-gauge, 20-gauge, and .410 caliber with 3-inch (76mm) chambers. It’s compatible with Hatsan’s ESCORT VTS magazines and has an integrated carry handle riser with built-in front sights and adjustable rear sights. It also features a removable vented muzzle brake and muzzle cap.

Optima O/U Range

Hatsan’s range of Optima over/under shotguns was also on display with guns Available in 12 gauge, 20 gauge, or 28 gauge. They all feature Hatsan’s “Easy Adjust” Action System for customizable opening force and shell ejection. They have Aluminum receivers, though the 12 gauge is available in steel. They also have an Aluminum extractor paired with a steel ejector for smooth operation.

They come in a selection of silver and black finishes with engraved receiver detailing and all feature a multi-choke system for versatility across hunting and sport shooting.

ERX Bolt-Action Rifle Series

Now for the new stuff, Hatsan are moving into offering bolt action rifles. The ERX Bolt-Action Rifle Series features adjustable length of pull (with 3–10mm stock spacers), an elevation-adjustable cheek rest, soft rubber  inlays and QD sling mounts and sling studs. The rifle also has a length of Picatinny rail at the front of the forend for bipod mounting.

The ERX weighs 7.1 lbs and has an overall length of 39.3 inches. They will be chambered in .308 WIN and .30-06. It has a Button-rifled, CRMO chrome-plated steel 1:10 barrel with gas nitriding, a Remington-spec action, trigger, and optic platforms, an adjustable trigger, the feed from AICS-compatible detachable 5-round magazine and it has a 5/8”-24 threaded muzzle brake.

Hatsan say that in the future it’s planned to offer additional chamberings and stock configurations – they even brought out a prototype ERX with a wooden stock with a checkered forend.
