[SHOT 2025] New Rifles from Diamondback – Carbon Fiber Barrels, the Obsidian Series & Knight’s Armament Collab

We’ve already looked at the new revolvers from Diamondback but they’ve also continued to expand their popular rifle offerings.

Knight’s Armament Company Barrel Collaboration

Diamondback have partnered with Knight’s Armament Company on a new DB15 with a Knights 16in cold hammer forced barrel at its core. The rifle has a 7075 T-6 Aluminium lower,  a phosphate chrome lined M16 bolt carrier group, Magpul MOE K2 pistol grip, a 15in MLOK rail with a 12 o’clock Picatinny rail, Magpul MBUS sights and a Magpul CTR stock. MSRP for the rifle is $1547.

New Carbon Fiber Barrel DB15

The DB15 Carbon Fiber Barrel is another new barrel-centric offering. It has an 18in 1:7 416R stainless steel barrel with a carbon fiber wrap. Chambered in .223 Wylde the rifle also has a DB15 Diamond lower and a 15 inch S-rail. The rifle also has a Magpul PRS-LITE stock and a CMC 2.5 lb single stage trigger. MSRP for the carbon fiber rifle is $1790.

The DB15 Obsidian Series

In addition to the two featured rifles Diamondback have also expanded their Obsidian line of rifles with new configurations and chamberings.

The Obsidian series features 7075 T6 Aluminum lower receiver with an MOE trigger guard. DB CRMOV barrels with black Nitride finishes in various lengths.

The Obsidian series is available on various rifle configurations with 16 inch barrels as well as pistol configurations with 11.5 inch barrels and SB Tactical SBA5 braces. Finally, the Obsidian line is rounded out by a rifle chambered in 6mm ARC.
