[SHOT 2025] Magpul’s New Releases

Magpul hit SHOT Show 2025 hard with a whole spate of new releases. We were able to get our hands on them for ourselves at the show. Keep reading for all the details.

Magpul @ TFB:

Savage 110 Magpul Scout: From Practical To Tactical TFB Review: Magpul SL MP5 Stock The Magpul FMG-9 is FINALLY HERE: The Magpul/ZEV FDP & FDC [SHOT 2024] Magpul TMAG Translucent AR-15 MAG, Steel AMAX Magazine [SHOT 2025] Hands-on With Maztech Systems

Rem 700 Hunter Lite

First up is the Hunter Lite stock for the Remington 700 footprint. It weighs only 2.4 pounds, and is compatible with both right- and left-handed actions. There are MLOK slots underneath the handguard for bipod or tripod mounting options.

DAKA Range Bag

These are made from the same material as the other DAKA products and follow the traditional layout of most range bags. The panels are welded together for strong bonds that will not tear out.

PMAG 25 ICAR

What’s old is new again! Longtime shooters will recall the LWRC SixEight project which was an AR with a reshaped magwell and slightly different magazines than the STANAG we are all used to. The goal of that product was better feeding with 6.8 SPC ammo. That caliber didn’t ever catch on and this magazine faded into the background, but the emergence of the 6mm ARC calls for a magazine with improved feeding. Magpul redesigned the SixEight magazine to the PMAG 25 ICAR and optimized it for 6mm ARC use. This necessitates a new magazine, but rifle manufacturer are stepping up including Palmetto State Armory who had an ICAR-compatible 6mm ARC rifle on display.

TMAG 20

The transparent magazine, or TMAG, was a major news item last year. That 30-round model started hitting shelves and has made appearances in some of our reviews. New for 2025 is a shortened 20-rounder. It looks like the TMAG 30 but squished down by a third. Sadly for true gun nerds, there was no straight 20 on display this year (yes, we know it is objectively worse than the curved one, and still want them anyway).

EDC Bags

There are three bags in the new EDC line. The smallest is the 15L EDC15 Messenger, moving up to the EDC18 and EDC25 backpacks. The backpacks hold up to an 18-inch laptop. All three have concealed carry pockets. Various inserts are for sale separately to integrate more storage with these bags. The EDC series used a sewed construction for the materials.

QD MLOK Bipod

The MOE QD Bipod for MLOK uses a unique mounting system to hook up to MLOK slots without messing with the screws normally used for that type of connection. There is a small angled foot that extends and retracts with a large knob. With that foot in the extended position it fits into the rail, and tightening down the knob secures the bipod. The process is repeated in reverse to remove the bipod, simply loosen the knob and slide the foot out of the MLOK slot. Most bipods are mounted in ways that are a pain to remove, so they usually are left on the gun even if they are not likely to be used. With a QD system, the bipod can ride in your pack and only go on the gun when you need to use it in a shooting position.

Breach Glove 2.0

The Breach glove is updated to a newer version with improved knuckle protectors and Nomex material in the glove body. Nomex is renowned as a fire-retardant textile

AMAG 21 SG9

The AMAG 21 for the Sig P320/M17/M18 family of pistols is an extended 21-rounder. It builds on the initial AMAG (or Alloy Mag) introduced at SHOT 2025.

RXM Pistol Frames

Additional colors are coming for the Ruger X Magpul RXM pistol. Both OD Green and FDE were in the booth.

Soft Cases

The new soft cases accommodate firearms and have handy pockets for accessories as well as tie-downs to keep guns stable inside the cases. These cases are designed for integration in Magpul’s hard cases. Just remove the grid system and these soft cases nest right inside. This is great for traveling shooters because they need a hard-sided case, particularly for air travel, but also have the option of using the soft case separately once they reach their destination.

MIM Knives

Magpul is getting into metal injection molding (MIM) and will be developing a series of knives using that technology.

Grid Organizers

Owners of hard cases can retrofit their existing cases with these new universal Grid sections. Just trim it to fit your case and use it with the other Magpul Grid products.
