MR A4
The new MR556 A4 and MR762 made appearances, with both on display in the booth and the 5.56 at range day. James Reeves has already examined the MR556 A4 in great detail, so check out his video review if you want to know more. The guns on the range were running well and being shot by a lot of people, with dust and sand blowing everywhere.
The MR762A4 has shown up in HK’s marketing materials, but this was most people’s first chance to see it in person. It is clearly derived from the same family as the 5.56 sibling but with a heftier receiver. One of the display models was set up as a precision rifle or DMR, and with the kind of accuracy guarantees that HK USA has made around these guns (10 rounds into 1 MOA) along with barrels that are supposed to last almost forever, this could be a very interesting precision gas gun when it hits the market.
CC9
The CC9 has been out for a while, but they are scarce in stores still. James took a close look at one in his video review which is a good source of information on the gun. It is a compact little gun clearly made for concealed carry use (that is what the CC stands fo, after all) but it feels good in the hand.
VP9 A1
The VP9 is not a new product, but it was recently updated to the A1 specification with various changes. It now has an adjustable trigger, a more customizable grip, and is available with a Holosun SCS purpose-built for the VP9. The slide serrations are also updated to the “maritime” pattern.
