[SHOT 2025] Hatsan Updates Bulltac Pump-Actions, New Mag-Fed

New look for ‘25
The Escort bullpup line originally came to the U.S. market in 2023 in one choice: 12 gauge, with a blacked-out finish. Logical, because that’s what most buyers in this space are looking for, a no-nonsense gun that hits hard downrange.
But as with everything else in this world, consumers like variety, and Escort eventually unveiled a .410 and a 20 gauge version of this pump-action. Both were chambered in 3-inch shells like the original 12-gauge version, for 5+1 capacity, as was a mag-fed version of the 12 gauge. But they were all given that same basic black paint. Now, for 2025, Escort is mixing that up, with tacticalish olive green and khaki finishes for the 20 gauge and .410 models.
As before, their MSRP remains at $299.
New mag-fed option
Hatsan is also bringing in a new lineup of mag-fed Bulltac shotguns, basically the same as the old line except they use VTS box mags. Same 18-inch barrel with cylinder choke, same basic controls except for the magazine system. The VTS box mags hold 5+1 rounds. Drum mags with larger capacity are also available.
Hatsan’s website says these mag-fed guns will be available in 20 gauge and .410, but we only saw this 12 gauge at SHOT Show this year. However, we see these shotguns in these calibers coming from other Turkish brands in some markets, so we know they already exist and are theoretically very easy to bring into the States as a result, since manufacturing is obviously underway. We haven’t seen a price tag yet; keep an eye on Escort’s website for more deets as they become available.
