[SHOT 2025] Burris Expand Their Red Dot Line with the New FastFire E
Burris Optics has a new affordable enclosed emitter red dot option for your pistol, carbine or shotgun – the new FastFire E.
The FastFire E has a waterproof, shockproof, and fogproof monolithic machined aluminum housing with an enclosed emitter preventing ingress of things like dirt or snow. The sight’s A
aspherical lenses minimizes glare and the emitter has 8 red dot illumination settings, 2 night vision settings, and is either red or green reticle versions are available.
The optic has a 60,000-hour battery life and is powered by a single CR2032 lithium battery, which is located in a side-mounted battery compartment. The controls were simple and responsive on the models we handled at the Burris booth. The controls include an automatic brightness reset, brightness lock, and a button lockout function to prevent accidental adjustments to your desired settings.
Burris are aiming this expansion of their FastFire line at the competition, duty, and hunting markets suggesting the FastFire E would be at home on anything from a pistol to a shotgun.
The FastFire E has a large 22x17mm window with the emitter projecting a 3.5-MOA “always on” dot which is fully adjustable for windage and elevation, offering a 100-MOA adjustment range.
