The Korean Marine Exchange Program (KMEP) is a recurring multinational exercise aimed at enhancing the combat readiness of U.S. and Korean forces. This exercise emphasizes the integration of aviation and ground assets within a traditional Combined Arms Live Fire Exercise framework. KMEP also helps U.S. Marines become familiar with the Korean Peninsula and strengthens the already robust relationship between the Republic of Korea and U.S. Marines.
