POTD: The KR-Weapons Model KRW 20

Photo Of The Day and we turn to the Czech Republic, KR-Weapons and their model KRW 20. The KRW 20 is a semi-automatic firearm designed for target shooting and sport. It is available in seven versions with barrel lengths ranging from 120mm to 254mm. The intention is to offer a firearm that can be used at approved shooting ranges for pistol cartridges, at distances from approximately 10m to 50m or 100m. The caliber is either 9x19mm Luger or 9×21mm, typically for markets where the 9x19mm is forbidden for civilians.

Intended for civilian users, it is suited for target shooting, sport shooting disciplines, and firearm handling practice. It can also be used for self-defense.

The firearm features a Picatinny or M-LOK rail system. The main upper rail accommodates mechanical sights or a red dot sight, while additional rails at 90° around the barrel allow for mounting accessories such as tactical lights or pistol grips.

The images above are of the KRW 20 version 2 (202 mm barrel). The version 1 with 120 mm barrel is shown below.

And this is the KRW 20 version 3, with a H&K G35-like overbuild.

The company has a configurator on their website, which gives you an idea of the basic design and modularity. The main body is said to be made out of steel.

There’s no pricing available, but you can check them out at: https://www.kr-weapons.com/
