POTD: The Heckler & Koch MR308 A6 16.75” – Designated Marksman Rifle

Photo Of The Day – Let’s take a closer look at the Heckler & Koch MR308 A6 16.75”, which was shown for the first time at EnforceTac 2024 in Germany. This is a Designated Marksman Rifle, and to the best of my knowledge, it’s been Cerakoted in RAL 7005. This is a European color code where the classic colors have a 4-digit number in combination with the letters (for example RAL 7005). 

The first digit is a code number with ”7” representing grey. This color is colloquially called “mouse gray”.

That side-charger looks really interesting and reminds me of the LWRCI REPR Mk II.

The riflescope is from Schmidt & Bender. The model is 5-20×50 PM II Ultra Short, and it’s one of the best for an AR-type rifle due to its compact size.

What’s on the menu tonight?

Sorry for the less-than-perfect images, but it was quite difficult to get quality images due to the spotlights, shadows and “the beauty” being inside a transparent box.
