POTD: Modified Tikka T3x UPR In MDT LSS-XL Chassis

According to Sako, the Tikka T3x UPR (Ultimate Precision Rifle) was designed for shooters who demand exceptional accuracy and reliability. Manufactured by Sako in Finland, it normally features a lightweight carbon-fiber-reinforced stock with an adjustable cheekpiece. The rifle includes a free-floating barrel, reducing vibration and improving precision. In this case, the owner wanted a little more, so an MDT LSS-XL chassis in FDE was purchased and installed. The Ckye Pod bipod is also from MDT.

The T3x UPR is equipped with a high-quality trigger and the bolt is really smooth. It’s compatible with various accessories, such as modular grips, slings, and bipods, to tailor the rifle to specific needs. This model caters to hunting, sport shooting, and tactical scenarios, excelling in harsh conditions while maintaining sub-MOA accuracy.

So how does it shoot? Normally the 6.5 Creedmoor is very accurate, and when “married” with the cold hammer forged barrel of the T3x some kind of magic is produced. Below are five holes of 6.5 Creedmoor at 100 meters, and the ruler is showing metric. I don’t know the brand, but there’s a compensator, and (I think) a barrel tuner mounted as well.

The riflescope is a Schmidt & Bender 3-20x PM II Ultra Short.
