POTD: MCX-Regulator – SIG Sauer’s Ranch Rifle
Redefining the Ranch Rifle, that’s what SIG Sauer says about the MCX-Regulator. Would it fit in front of your fireplace also, or would you rather watch it burn?
The MCX-REGULATOR is an alloy-framed rifle with a gas-piston system. It features a Magpul SGA stock for Mossberg 500/590 shotguns and a redesigned lower receiver that works with all MCX upper receivers. The rifle has ambidextrous controls, including the magazine release, safety selector, and bolt catch.
It comes with a two-stage match trigger, a cold hammer-forged carbon steel barrel, and a SIG-designed muzzle brake. Available in 7.62×39 and 5.56, it includes an integrated Arca Rail for tripod mounting and ships with a 10-round magazine.
The riflescope is a Tango MSR MRAD FFP with 2-12x44mm, which should make a sweet combination with those calibers.
