POTD: 3E EOS PARS Thermal Sight on Heckler & Koch MR223
We’re running a bunch of images of the Turkish 3E EOS PARS Thermal Sight on a Heckler & Koch MR223. The PARS is made by 3E Elektro Optik Sistemler, and perfect for our Photo Of The Day. Some may know of this thermal sight, but very few have seen any images from the PARS sight itself. That’s about to change as you scroll down.
So what does a sample image look like through the PARS? Here’s a funny one using the outline mode. There are more sample images below.
Below: The system mounted on an Innorell tripod.
As usual, we run our rifles suppressed. This one is made by SAI – Small Arms Industries Aps – from Denmark, and it’s NATO-approved with a quick detach that works on NATO flash hiders.
Because I get the question so often, the handguard is made by Troy and in carbon fiber. I don’t think they make it any longer, but it looks great in the sun. I just wish they could have aligned the CF mesh a bit straighter.
Below: Yes, that’s an HK bolt.
In the winter, there isn’t much daylight but I felt like I had to capture this shadow.
Here are some wild boar in the sight of the PARS 675.
And some mouflon (caged) in outline mode.
And black hot on the 6×6 bug out vehicle.
