Nocpix Vista – New Mid-High-End Thermal Monocular

As TFB recently announced, there’s a new brand for thermals and night vision equipment called Nocpix, short for nocturnal pixels. This is a brand by InfiRay Technologies, and they have a new line of thermal monoculars called Vista. The Vista line includes four new variants, with 35 and 50-mm lenses, with or without integrated laser rangefinders. The thermal sensor is 640×512& 12μm, and the Vision+ System includes a -2560×2560 round display, which Nocpix claims gives a more visual experience than a square display. This line is aimed at the mid-to-high-end night hunting market, but can of course be used to find missing people and a variety of other scenarios.

The dimensions are 190×67×79 mm and the weight is 630 grams.

There is also a model called 35R and 50R with an integrated laser rangefinder.

Here’s what Nocpix had to say:

“The VISTA delivers industry-leading image performance with Nocpix’s self-developed 640@12μm infrared core. Its NETD is below 15mk, enabling it to detect even the smallest temperature differences, rendering crisp and detailed images. Unlike most high-endproducts with a 50Hz refresh rate, the VISTA adopts new 60Hz refresh rate technology. This feature, typically found only in ultra-premium brands and models, ensures smoother images and lower latency, providing a more comfortable viewing experience, especially when tracking fast-moving targets. (If conditions allow, power on the device for a demonstration.)One unique feature of the VISTA is its 1.03-inch large display screen. Most other brands use displays as small as 0.39 inches. The VISTA also features an 8mm exit pupil diameter eyepiece, while most brands only offer 4mm or 6mm. This combination of a large screen and eyepiece provides a far superior visual experience compared to other brands. The detection range of the VISTA extends up to 2600m, with an integrated rangefinder capable of reaching 1200m. This not only improves the appearance of the device but also ensures better optical axis consistency. Users will find it especially accurate when measuring long distances, significantly reducing the chance of mismeasurement.Additionally, the VISTA offers a series of user-friendly features, including eye protection (red-green board, 10-level brightness adjustment, cold-warm tone switch), and an app connectivity function.”

Here are the different color variations for the presentation of the thermal image.

TFB has a Vista 50 for review, and having used this device for a month we will be back with a full review in the near future with TFB’s own experience, our own images and videos so that our readers can judge by themselves and make an educated purchase.
