Emissary Development Introduces the Handbrake X

Emissary Development has announced the Handbrake X, the newest evolution and flagship of the Handbrake series. Everything that made the original Handbrake design so popular is still true of the Handbrake X, including its forward swept angle, optimized size and geometry, tapered walls, front and rear barricade stops, and grip-retaining bottom ledge. The Handbrake X, however, looks to bring some of its own new features to the table.

Constructed of rugged impact-resistant and fiber-reinforced nylon polymer, the Handbrake X looks very much like the original, but the texture has been reworked to feature a new rubberized surface, providing enhanced grip and comfort. This improvement in overall ergonomics makes extended shooting effortless as your support hand maintains a firm purchase while pulling your rifle into the shoulder, providing a stable platform to get shots downrange quickly and accurately.

The rubber texturing also adds a layer of traction under wet conditions, providing you with a consistent grip no matter what the situation. Emissary Development also manufactures pistol grips for the AR-15 platform that feature a similar aesthetic and grip texture so you can steer with both hands on the wheel and look all matchy-match at the same time.

Using a multi-stage mold manufacturing process, the dual material design of the Emissary Development Handbrake X is positively fused with mechanical locks, resulting in a robust and rock-solid grip while also providing peace of mind during hard use barrier work. Steel M-LOK hardware securely locks the Handbrake X into your handguard for serious abuse at the range or in a match.

The Emissary Development Handbrake X is available on the company’s website in black, with OD Green and FDE versions available exclusively at RevivalDefense.com during the launch period. MSRP on the Handbrake X is $35.
