EAA Introduces Updated Girsan MC 14T X Tip-Up
Looking for a new CCW piece? European American Armory (EAA) comes a-calling for your hard-earned money, introducing an updated version of the Girsan MC 14T X to the U.S. market—it’s a slight revamp of their existing tip-up pistol.

Why a tip-up pistol?
Tip-up actions have been around for a long, long time, requiring the user to “tip up” the barrel and insert a cartridge to chamber a round. But they’re still a bit unusual outside the pocket pistol scene. Why use such a method? The MC14 T first came to market in 2023; then, we told you:
“With its “Tip-Up” design there is no slide racking required to load and fire the gun. Offered in .380 ACP with a capacity of 13+1, it’s claimed to be the ideal concealed carry handgun, especially for those who may have difficulty using a regular pistol.”
Not everyone has the muscle in their mitts to rack the slide on an auto pistol, but the tip-up design allows them to work around that.
The new MC 14T X
The new MX 14 T X builds on the earlier design by adding a spiral-fluted barrel with a threaded muzzle—this should allow the addition of a muzzle device if you get your paperwork in order. A two-tone black-and-tungsten Cerakote finish comes standard, along with low-profile sights, and an under-barrel accessory rail. Girsan also did some work on the trigger. The new pistol only weighs 22 ounces unloaded and is 7 inches in length.
It’s a bougie take on the earlier carry-gun design, but much the same pistol, shipping with a 13+1 capacity magazine. The profile almost looks like a mini version of a Beretta 92, which may appeal to some shooters who are looking for a hide-out piece that still looks good, even if it’s tucked away under deep cover.
Of course, it’s a .380 like the original.
MSRP is $519; for details on how to get one for yourself, check out EAA’s website here.
