More Dead Air @TFB:

The Mojave 45’s key innovation lies in its advanced baffle design, achieved through additive manufacturing. The Triskelion system provides several benefits:

  • Reduced back pressure and felt recoil
  • Enhanced sound reduction at both muzzle and ear
  • Lighter weight with rearward bias for better balance
  • Cleaner shooting experience with less firearm wear

Specifications:

  • Construction: Titanium
  • Finish Options: Black or FDE Cerakote
  • Diameter: 1.48 inches
  • Length: 8.6 inches (long), 6.8 inches (short)
  • Weight: 12.7 ounces (long), 10.44 ounces (short)
  • MSRP: $1,099

The suppressor offers impressive versatility, supporting multiple platforms:

  • Full-Auto Rated: All pistol calibers up to 45 Auto, 300 BLK subsonic (8-inch barrel minimum)
  • Semi-Auto Compatible: 300 BLK supersonic, 350 Legend, 400 Legend subsonic, 450 Bushmaster subsonic
  • Lever-Action Support: 357 Magnum and 44 Magnum with 16-inch barrels

Note: The Mojave 45 is not compatible with supersonic 400 Legend, 450 Bushmaster, or 45-70 Government ammunition.

Users can quickly configure the Mojave 45 between long and short configurations without tools, adapting to different shooting scenarios. The suppressor maintains compatibility with Dead Air’s P-series adapters, expanding its mounting options.

Like its predecessor, the Mojave 9, this new suppressor emphasizes practical performance improvements. The modular design allows shooters to prioritize either maximum sound suppression or compact size based on their needs. Dead Air’s focus on real-world functionality shows in features like tool-less configuration changes and compatibility across multiple firearm platforms.
