POTD: Foreign Weapons For U.S. Air Commandos

Now who here doesn’t love an Uzi on full automatic? No less than four spent cartridges in the air at the same time is great for TFB’s Photo Of The Day. These images are from the Air Force Special Operations Command Service Member of the Year competition, where nominees are required to shoot over 10 different types of foreign weapons at multiple targets at varying distances. Can I become a nominee too, please?

The competition consists of three days of mental, physical, and technical challenges including shooting various weapons such as the M107 Barrett rifle, Sten gun and an AK-47.

Below: If you had one look at the image below, and had to identify the rifle what would you guess?

It is actually a L96A1 sniper rifle by Accuracy International. Here it can be seen at the shooting range in Hurlburt Field, Florida.
