POTD: Ruger Precision Rifle With Leica PRS 5-30x56i Riflescope
It’s quite seldom we take a look through the riflescope of a gun like this in TFB’s Photo Of The Day, but I guess quite a few of our readers feel the temptation to ring some steel? This Leica sits firmly on top of a Ruger Precision Rifle in .308 Win., and the targets are slightly over 300 meters away. Do you like this kind of reticle for PRS style of shooting?
From the position seen in the top image, it’s not possible for the eye (or the camera) to see the compact Aimpoint ACRO red dot. But if you move your head and eye just slightly up, you can use the red dot to change from target to target with a great field of view. Once you’re close to the next target array, just slide down again and get ready to hammer the steel again for more points.
If you want, the red dot can also be used as an emergency sight.
